Guitar and We understand that a music for your ceremony needs to be perfect and and things need to run smoothly on your big day. With countless happy couples and having played almost every major wedding venue in the tri-state area such as Central Park, The Foundry and Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, Penguin Music knows weddings. Our ceremony package includes prelude music while guests are arriving, all music for your ceremony (including 2 custom arranged pieces in any musical style) and amplification for musicians. Upon special request, Penguin can also supply power generated PA systems for beaches and parks, on-site recording services and sound equipment for officiants and speakers. We have accommodated weddings of up to 600 guests.
Below are the four basic parts of a wedding and how the music choice corresponds. This blog entry will help you decide on processional songs.
Prelude/Postlude Music – Music as guests arrives and as guests leave. This is around 20 minutes of music that will set the mood for your wedding before and after.
Processionals – Music for the ceremony. Usually the groomsmen, bridesmaids and special guests walk down to one song, and the bride walks to a different song.
Meditations – Moments of silence or mediation during the ceremony.
Recessionals – When the bride and groom walk back down the aisle. This is usually an uplifting/upbeat song.
